My antique business introduced me to the Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and Abstract expressionist movements. Icart, Parrish, Klee, Louis Comfort Tiffany, Picasso, Kandinsky, and Jackson Pollack are in the foundation of my work.  

I am self-taught and the last 10 years have been an exercise in trial and error.  I have taken one (a Christmas present) art class. After completing the course, I entered the 2016 Broad Ripple Art Center Student and Faculty Art Show; where I won Best in Show (Painting).  This gave me the impetus and confidence to keep painting.
